Diane Warren, the legendary composer, will be a guest at the 21st Ischia Global Film and Music Festival. She was nominated 13 times at Academy Awards in the Best Song category and we remember her for I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing (Aerosmith, 1998), and I Was Here (Beyoncé, 2011). Diane Warren ‘s last hit Applause from Tell It Like a Woman sung by Sofia Carson the other amazing guest of this season. She is an American actress, singer, and dancer with Colombian roots. She is well known for The Descendants (2015), Adventures in Babysitting, and Songbird (2020).
The Festival is conceived by Pascal Vicedomini and put together with Giancarlo Carriero, Marina Cicogna, and Franco Nero. The project is supported by D.G. Cinema MiC and the Campania Region. Valerio Esposito’s Double Soul opens the 21st Ischia Global Film & Music Festival. Moreover, we have more than 1,400 authors who have already applied to participate through Filmfreeway. It has succeeded in its intent to bring the island back to the splendor of the 1960s. The festival in its 20 years of operation has hosted some of the world’s leading figures in film and music such as Andrew Garfield, Francis Ford Coppola, and many others.
