American director Catherine Hardwicke (“Twilight”, “Tell It Like a Woman”) and singer Sofia Carson will be among the stars of the 21st edition of Ischia Global. The Festival is sponsored by the support of the DG Cinema and Audiovisual of the MiC and the Campania Region.

Catherine Hardwicke and Sofia Carson will collect the “Women in Career Award” on July 12. Moreover, they are expected to participate in the classic “Women’s Speech” forum chaired by British producer Trudie Styler. We also count the following among the forum invitees: the extraordinary participation of Oscar-winning composer Diane Warren, Edwige Fenech, Dorothy Canton, and Afghan director Sonia Nassery Cole. Also on the extraordinary women’s panel were Hollywood stars’ agent Lena Roklin, manager Johanne Colonna, and actresses Lina Sastri, and Angela Pagano. Also present will be Maria Pia Calzone along with youngsters Didi Anderson, Giulia Andò, Selene Caramazza, and Rai Fiction director Maria Pia Ammirati. Other Italian and international artists: Ukrainian photographers Vicoolya and Saida, dancer Anastasia Kuzmina model Carolina Stramare, Rai anchorwomen Mara Venier, Monica Setta, and more.

Hardwicke will present the national premiere of her recent film with Toni Colette and Monica Bellucci “Mafia Mamma” (filmed in Italy). Warren and performer Carson will witness the success of the song “Applause” (Tell it like it woman) nominated for the 2023 Oscar. It was produced by ILBE and We do it Together.
