Nancy Bishop, a renowned casting director, was celebrated at the 2024 Ischia Global Fest with the prestigious ‘Ischia Casting Director of the Year Award’. The ceremony, held recently, recognised Bishop’s exceptional talent and contribution in the field of casting for film and television.
Nancy Bishop is widely respected for her meticulous work in discovering and selecting talent for a wide range of international productions. Her expertise and dedication have significantly influenced the industry, shaping performances and narratives across various genres and platforms.
Bishop has collaborated on highly successful films, including “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” (2011), “Hellboy” (2004), Snowpiercer (2013) and “The Bourne Identity” (2002), helping to define the success of these productions through his ability to find the right performers for each role.
The Ischia Global Film & Music Festival, produced and founded by Pascal Vicedomini, and chaired by Jim Sheridan is made with the support of MiC’s DG Cinema and Audiovisual and the Campania Region. The Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia and Siae, Riflessi-Made In Italy, Givova, Rainbow and Vulcano Buono promote the event.
